LG G Watch R annouced globally

LG has finally announced it rounded shaped smartwatch known as LG G Watch R globally, where Google Play would be the only store people would be able to get it from first but in some selected markets though among which we assume US would also be included. The smartwatch would start selling in Europe in the early November including UK, France, Germany, Italy and many more.

LG G Watch R will be running Android Wear and comes with a rounded face design with a screen size of 1.3 inches. LG G Watch R would be the first smartwatch to come with a complete round screen whereas Motorola Moto 360 also has a round face but the display on the Moto 360 is not completely round. The screen uses P-OLED which supports a resolution of 320 x 320. The smartwatch also comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad core processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of onboard storage and to power it all a 410mAh battery which is higher than batteries found on other smartwatches.

The smartwatch also comes with IP57-certification meaning that it’s both dust and water resistant. LG also said that their LG G Watch R can be strapped with any 22mm wide watch strap and also comes with 6 different watch faces preloaded on to the device.

LG G Watch is going to cost $299 which is lower than the Motorola Moto 360 and offers the same round face design. The smartwatch looks stylish and the watch face does not make it appear like a smartwatch at all as it gives off the look of a real watch.

If you had a choice which watch would you go for the LG G Watch R or the Motorola Moto 360 and why?
