Verizon LG V20 deal brings second phone for $1

Verizon is at the center of some juicy deals these days — if you’re considering Best Buy as your retail store with which to enter into installment plans. The Moto Z will come with a free Insta-Share Projector MotoMod (worth $300) and Verizon Galaxy S7s will come with a free $150 gift card. These deals are sweet enough, but with the LG V20 now landing in consumer hands, the question comes down to whether or not Best Buy will also grant deals on LG’s latest smartphone. While we can’t speak for Best Buy, we can speak for Big Red because the latest Verizon LG V20 deal may help some buyers make the jump.

Right now, you can partake of the Verizon LG V20 deal being carried out by Big Red itself. Those who buy the LG V20 will find the price to be the most inexpensive you’ll see on all carriers: The Verizon LG V20 deal will bring a price tag of $672, or $28 a month for 24 months on an installment plan. This is far lower than AT&T’s $830 asking price for the LG V20, so AT&T customers wanting to make the jump should join up with Big Red to take advantage of this price tag. Additionally, the Verizon LG V20 deal also brings the new LG Stylo 2 V, what Verizon is calling its own version of the LG Stylo 2 that LG has been giving to Sprint over the last year or so. The Stylo 2 is nothing more than LG’s own stylus phone, a much cheaper version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 (in more ways than one). The best part about the LG Stylo 2? You will get it for just $1 a month for 24 months (just $24) as a result of the Verizon LG V20 deal.

For the price of 1 phone, you’ll essentially get 2 phones that you and someone you know can use. In addition to the LG Stylo 2 V, you’ll also get a free pair of H3 B&O headphones (the B&O headphones are also a free gift for T-Mobile LG V20 customers — so this seems to be more of a standard promo than anything else).

The Verizon LG V20 deal brings these presents, but you’re getting some commendable specs as well. Apart from the V20’s design (which is quite a nice step up from the horrid G5), you’re getting the best hi-fi audio experience you could ever get from a smartphone, not to mention the Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, rumored stellar cameras, and Android Nougat alongside of its new features for the basic Android experience.

Regardless of what you may think about the LG Stylo 2 V and LG’s attempts to encroach upon Samsung’s territory with a style and price that are just too cheap to compete, the V20 is a commendable smartphone in the high-end Android market. The V20 doesn’t come with the modularity of the G5, and it brings back the easy removable battery process for which the G5 requires a how-to manual.
