The company was able to sell a total of 10 million combined units during the first three days of officially launching the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. Now, it appears that Apple wants to jump back to producing 4 inch iPhones because a reliable source has stated that the Cupertino tech giant is rumored to be working on the iPhone 6C, which features a screen size of 4 inches.
Additional reports state that iPhone 6C will be incorporated with Apple’s A8 SoC; the same one that has been fitted in the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. Furthermore, the company’s upcoming flagship smartphone, the iPhone 6S will be assimilated with the A9 chipset, which is said to be manufactured on Samsung’s superior 14 nm FinFET architecture.Both handsets will also feature an NFC chip, although it has not been detailed whether or not that particular chip will be used to make contact-less transactions through Apple Pay or will users will actually be able to transfer data across devices wirelessly, which is the primary function of NFC.
