Apple Watch 2 will add a bigger battery, but look the same

It seems Apple believed they got the Apple Watch right the first time, at least as far as external looks go, since the Apple Watch 2 will look exactly the same according to a new report.

Apple is reportedly working with LG and Samsung to produce thinner OLED displays that would then allow for a bigger battery to be placed in the device, whilst keeping the exterior the same. No other internal component changes are expected to be changed for the next generation, with the Apple Watch 2 seen more as an evolution of the original rather than a revolution.

As for timeframes, there’s no indication of when we can expect to see the hardware revisions and updated Apple Watch 2 but it most likely won’t be anytime soon as the first-generation Apple Watch is still being rolled out worldwide.
