Some users report that when they look for the App Store, they simply can’t find it on their iOS device. It may seem like it is lost, but since it is not possible to delete the App Store, it is likely that it was just moved to another screen or into a different folder or maybe it was disabled. Don’t worry, there are some steps that you can follow to retrieve it. Here is what you can do:
- Go to Settings, then General, followed by Restrictions and Installing apps
- Turn the App Store on. That is it, you should now see the App store icon in Home screen layout.
If even after doing the above you can’t still see the App store icon, you may see it in the Home screen layout. Just do the below:
Flip the screen to check the icon, then try to reset Home screen via Settings, then General and Reset. Then Reset Home Screen Layout. The icon will be restored to its position.
Keep in mind that if the iOS device was jailbroken, it is possible that the App Store was deleted. In that case, you will have to reverse the jailbreak and get the App Store back.
