We’ve covered the NextBit Robin here at Aptgadget, telling you that the smartphone is cloud-based in terms of its storage. Cloud storage integrates with local storage on your device so that it’s seamless. When you need cloud storage data, the NextBit Robin easily retrieves it and uploads data to the cloud when you haven’t used it for a while. It’s smart in that it interprets usage and responds accordingly; you don’t have to program it to do everything, which is a huge “plus.”
Well, the NextBit Robin is now available for pre-order. The device is listed at NextBit’s own site, with a price tag of $399. For that price, you’re getting a 5.2-inch, IPS LCD display with Gorilla Glass 4 and a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080p, a hexa-core, Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of local storage and 100GB of cloud storage, a 5MP front camera, 13MP back camera with phase detection autofocus (PDAF), dual front-facing speakers, fingerprint sensor, Quick Charging, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi, as well as a 2,680mAh battery.
The NextBit Robin will set you back $399 to pre-order and, as we’ve said before, you’ll have to wait until February 2016 to receive your shipment. With only about four months to go before then, it shouldn’t be too long.
