1. Launch Vine on your device and tap on the person icon to go to your profile. Then, tap “Settings”, which appears below your profile photo.

4. Once your Vine account is deactivated, your profile is hidden for 30 days and you can reactivate it by logging back in within 30 days. If you don’t, your profile and your vines will be permanently deleted. Keep in mind that once Vine becomes Vine Camera, you won’t be able to download your vines so you should do this as soon as you get a chance, even if you don’t want to delete your account.

How to delete your account through the website

You can also delete your Vine account through the Vine.co website. Even if you uninstall the app from your device, your account would still be active. If you want to delete your Vine account without affecting your Twitter account, you will need to get in touch with their support team. You can find the form on the Vine website.
