Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Animal Allergy Vacuum Testbericht

We hear it from every major vacuuming manufacturer:  this product has no filter and never loses suction.  The keyword in that claim is “never”.  That usually means the filter will last through a canister or two of sucking dirt and dust without getting clogged.  The Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Animal Allergy Vacuum makes just such a claim.  After enough testing to know that this machine was built to last, and then pitting it against the best vacuums still clinging to their filtered technology, the evidence was clear:  filterless works better.

When first rolled out for its debut in your home, your new Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Animal Allergy Vacuum will look strikingly like the DC65 Animal Upright.  Dyson has stuck with its trademark ball that increases maneuverability.  The dust bin clicks in and out of place with a simple push of its red button.  Turning it on is simple and there’s no need to press buttons to recline the handle: just pull it down and you’re ready to go.

The Cinetic Big Ball comes with an impressive array of attachments  There are nine in all, allowing you to tackle crevices, clean upholstery, suck up pet hair, and clean just about anything else.

Perhaps the biggest downside to this vacuum system is the price.  The whole Dyson Cinetic series is available with prices varying accordingly.  The Big Ball Animal Allergy will set you back a whopping $700, while its brother, the Big Ball Animal, goes for $600.  If you want the basic Animal alone, be prepared to shell out $550.  While filterless is definitely the way to go and far more interesting than changing filters every 6 months, it really doesn’t cut out that much of the work load.  In the day-to-day grind of actually cleaning the floors, the Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Animal Allergy holds its own against the competition but falls short of justification for the additional $300 tacked onto its price tag.

The Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Animal Allergy is an impressive looking vacuum and it does what it was designed to do:  it sucks up dust and dirt.  While Dyson came close to building a better mouse trap with this one, only you can decide if it is worth the extra cash it will cost to take one of these Cinetic Big Balls home with you.
