Galaxy Note 7-Ankündigung am Tag der Veröffentlichung

The Galaxy Note 7 announcement has been set for August 2nd; the only folks at this point who don’t know that are those who have made themselves oblivious to it. As always, though, the tech world is looking beyond the Galaxy Note 7 announcement date, planning for Samsung’s release of the upcoming Galaxy Note 7 (no Note 6). A new report says that Samsung looks to be more efficient this year, as the company plans to not only announce the upcoming handset earlier this year (one week and a half earlier than in 2015) but also plans to release the device on the same day.

What this means is that diehard Samsung Galaxy Note fans won’t have to wait long to get their hands on it; within the same day as the Galaxy Note 7 announcement, the handset will be available for ordering. We presume that Samsung may have a small pre-order period, though, if the company has prepared the colors of the new handset in advance, it intends to release the device right away without a pre-order period that’s an even bigger tease for the most ardent fans.

The Galaxy Note 7 announcement will feature what will be Samsung’s most prestigious handset of 2016: a 5.7-inch, Quad HD Super AMOLED display with a dual-edge curved design, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820/821 SoC, 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM, 64GB of storage, 5MP front camera, 12MP back camera with OIS, VDIS, and Dual Pixel phase detection autofocus (PDAF), and a 3,600mAh/4,000mAh battery. Samsung intends to add more functionality to the Note 7 by way of the S Pen.

In the same report in which we learn of the Galaxy Note 7 announcement date matching the Galaxy Note 7 release date, we also learn that LG will release its V10 successor handset to the market in September (as opposed to the October release of the LG V10 last year), and that it may be called the LG V20 instead of the LG V11. Little else is known about the V20, but LG has said before that it didn’t intend to make another Nexus 5X this year so as to devote more time to marketing its own handsets. That strategy hasn’t paid off yet, but the V20 may just be the Korean manufacturer’s best handset yet.
