Google Wifi-Router für zu Hause kommt mit Pixel-Handys

We’ve been hearing that October 4th is the magic date for the arrival of the new Google phones that will be called “Pixel” and “Pixel XL,” not Nexus 5X or Nexus 6P, for example. Up until now, though, we believed that the Pixel phones and perhaps a Huawei Pixel tablet would be all the announcement would hold. The same reliable source that has been feeding us news about Google’s upcoming event in a few days is back to inform us that Google also has a new Google WiFi home router in store.

The new WiFi home router, called Google WiFi, would allow users to create a large local network or “mesh network” at two different access points, something that most WiFi routers don’t accomplish currently. Just ask anyone you know that struggles with their home router giving good access to the Web in a certain room of the house or at a certain distance. Android Police says that “Our source claims multiple Google Wifi access points (two or more) can be linked together to create one large wireless network,” giving Google Wifi something along the lines of smart home router capabilities. The new Google Wifi home router will cost $129.

At the same event, as you already know, Google will announce the new Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL, the company’s update for its smartphones from 2015, along with what is rumored to be a new 4K Google Chromecast for 4K TV viewing. The new phones will not only bear new monikers but also have new designs, a new launcherund new (and controversial) price tags. The company has wasted little time parading the new phone around in the wild.

The new Google Wifi home router, 4K Chromecast, and Google Pixel and Pixel XL will debut on the world market on October 4th.
