LG Nexus 2015 zeigt sich in der Farbe Tennis Court Mint und erhält einen neuen Namen

We’ve been reporting here at Aptgadget about the LG Nexus 2015 (as we call it) that’s scheduled to appear at the end of the month. We’ve seen photos of the traditional black and white colors for the upcoming phone, but we now have another interesting color to join it.

Site UnderKG has leaked new photos detailing a mint color, known as “Tennis Court Mint,” for the LG Nexus 2015. So, we can be sure that the upcoming LG Nexus 2015 will have an additional third color. We’ve seen the LG Nexus 5 from 2013 in a red color, so it’s possible Google is introducing a new color option for those looking to buy the LG Nexus 2015. These photos seem to confirm that this is legitimate, considering that the typical “LG” name and logo are at the bottom on the phone’s back, in addition to the “NEXUS” branding down the back of the phone. The same Nexus branding occurred on the 2013 LG Nexus 5, so we see little reason to doubt the images.

The LG Nexus 2015 also has a new name. It’s one that has leaked in recent weeks, but very little evidence (outside of a few tweets here and there) have confirmed the name. It appears as though the LG Nexus 2015 will be called “Nexus 5X,” though we have little in the way of information behind why the upcoming LG Nexus will be called “5X.”

For those who are dying to know, the LG Nexus 2015 (or the Nexus 5X) will feature a 5.2-inch, IPS LCD display with a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080p, a hexa-core, Snapdragon 808 processor, 3GB of RAM, 5MP front camera, and 13MP back camera. The Nexus 5X will have a fingerprint scanner and run Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box, but we know very little about onboard storage at this time (although we’d like to think Google will be generous and provide 32GB of storage minimum).
