Moto G4 leckt auf Twitter, verweist auf "kleinen Bruder"

@Evleaks is back with more leaks in the tech world, even though he retired at one point. He’s made something of a comeback to his usual, with a legitimate tech reporting position with VentureBeat, and he’s had some consistent success with leaks and rumors regarding the next handsets to arrive on the market.

The Moto G4 has made an appearance with its moniker in Geekbench, and two Motorola handsets have passed by the American telecommunications entity Federal Communications Commission (or FCC), leading us to assume that a Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus are on the way. Well, if you didn’t know this already and need even more proof to believe it, Evan Blass has the undeniable proof you need – or at least enough to substantiate all the leaks and evidence we’ve seen so far. Taking to Twitter, Blass confirmed the existence of a “little bro” in reference to a Motorola handset: “Say hello to your little bro.” The photo leaked looks akin to a Nexus device, with its on-screen buttons at the bottom (the back button on the left, not the right; Samsung Galaxy fans such as myself do not find this appealing in the slightest) that match Google Nexus devices; the Google app icons are exactly as you’d find them on any device, but only Google services are pre-loaded on the desktop (which lends credence to this at least being a Google device, or a pure Android experience — which, in most cases, is a Motorola device).

With Blass’s words, “Say hello to your little bro,” we’ve got some hint here that there’s a “big bro” in addition to a “little bro.” If these devices are the Moto G4 and the Moto G4 Plus, then his statement makes much sense. We have little else to go on right now, except to say that devices often leak in their full photos before products are announced.

The Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus are said to have 5.5-inch displays, run octa-core, Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processors, and at least 3GB of RAM (though the Moto G4 Plus could have 4GB of RAM, though we think Motorola will leave 4GB of RAM for the 2016 Moto X).

Motorola will announce the Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus tomorrow, May 17th, in New Delhi, India.
