Samsung verschenkt kostenloses drahtloses Ladepad im Rahmen der neuen Samsung Pay-Aktivierung

Do you own one of Samsung’s 2015 devices? If so, you have probably been using Samsung Pay, Samsung’s mobile payments system, for some time now. Well, Samsung’s got a deal that may get you to activate Samsung Pay on your device if you’ve been waiting to find out whether or not the Korean giant’s payment service is worthwhile.

What’s the deal? Samsung is giving away free wireless charging pads for those who activate Samsung Pay. The deal started on October 28th, and will last until this Sunday, November 8th. The goal, of course, is to get customers to use Samsung Pay, and increase Samsung’s adoption rate for its mobile payment system. Samsung Pay is currently available on the Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge, Galaxy S6 edge+, and Galaxy Note 5.

Samsung Pay has a few remarkable advantages over Apple Pay. First, Samsung isn’t charging merchants who use the service – which will encourage merchants who want to stay on the cutting edge of technology and save money in the process. Next, Samsung Pay will work at practically any location that uses traditional card readers. The Korean manufacturer’s mobile payment system works because it utilizes magnetic safety transmission (or MST) technology that doesn’t require local businesses living on a budget to overhaul their card readers in order to partake of the new mobile payment trend. Apple Pay will charge merchants who use the company’s system and requires NFC machines to operate as intended.

The free wireless charging pad will run you around $69.99, so Samsung is giving away $70 for this deal. At the same time, however, we wish Samsung would include wireless charging pads as a free accessory with the purchase of any of its 2015 smartphones (without regard to Samsung Pay). After all, it seems as though Samsung should make wireless charging pads standard if the company wants its charging technology to gain widespread adoption.
