The method works when it comes to uninstalling any version of Xcode, including Xcode Beta, Xcode 4, Xcode 5 and Xcode 6.<\/p>\n<h2>Why should you uninstall Xcode?<\/h2>\n<p>There have been many reports of Xcode 6 having bugs in Swift compiler, which makes leads to computer freeze. This can be fixed by uninstalling Xcode, but the process to remove this app is not the same as with other common Mac tools. Xcode takes a lot of disk space during the installation so if you don&#8217;t want to use it, the best option is to uninstall it, following the below instructions.<\/p>\n<h2>How to uninstall Xcode completely<\/h2>\n<p>In order to remove Xcode from Mac completely, you need to do the following:<\/p>\n<p>1. Once Xcode is uninstalled, the original Install Xcode application will still be located in \/Applications\/ folder so you also need to delete it.<\/p>\n<h3>Uninstall Xcode Unix development toolkit<\/h3>\n<p>1.
