Ab 2016 wird der Tech-Gigant Apple aus Cupertino Intels LTE-Modems einbauen, anstatt sich an den f\u00fchrenden Chiphersteller Qualcomm zu halten. Laut einer Quelle wird Apple das 7360 LTE-Modem von Intel in seine zuk\u00fcnftigen iPhones integrieren. Der gr\u00f6\u00dfte Vorteil des 7360 LTE-Modems in mobilen Ger\u00e4ten ist, dass es Geschwindigkeiten liefert, die denen von Modems der Kategorie 9 entsprechen, die eine maximale Download-Geschwindigkeit von 450 Mbps haben und 29 LTE-B\u00e4nder unterst\u00fctzen.<\/p>\n

Leider werden die kommenden iPhones, die mit den neuen LTE-Modems ausgestattet sind, nur in den USA erh\u00e4ltlich sein, da dies die einzige Region ist, in der diese LTE-B\u00e4nder unterst\u00fctzt werden, und Berichten zufolge werden nicht alle iPhones mit Intels LTE-Chipsatz ausgeliefert. Bislang hat sich Apple nicht dazu ge\u00e4u\u00dfert, ob auch die k\u00fcnftige iPad-Reihe mit denselben LTE-Chips ausgestattet sein wird oder nicht.<\/p>\n

Eine Charge wird mit LTE-Modems von Qualcomm ausgeliefert werden, w\u00e4hrend die andere Charge mit Konnektivit\u00e4ts-Chips von Intel ausgestattet sein wird.
