Nach dem Galaxy Note Edge und dem Galaxy S6 Edge plant der s\u00fcdkoreanische Handygigant Samsung als N\u00e4chstes faltbare Smartphones als \"Gimmicks\". Das Unternehmen schlug hart zur\u00fcck, nachdem es 2014 unter einer finanziellen D\u00fcrre gelitten hatte, in der das Unternehmen im vierten Quartal 2014 einen Verlust von 60 Prozent beim Betriebsgewinn verzeichnete. Mit der Ver\u00f6ffentlichung des Samsung Galaxy S6 beendete der Tech-Gigant die negative Kritik und hat nun die Zukunft ins Visier genommen, die, wie es aussieht, aus faltbaren Smartphones besteht.<\/p>\n

Derzeit halten Samsung Display und LG Display jeweils einen Marktanteil von 50 Prozent bei Displays und sind damit die beiden f\u00fchrenden Unternehmen in diesem speziellen Bereich. Es besteht kein Zweifel daran, dass beide Smartphone-Giganten ihre Siegesserie so lange wie m\u00f6glich aufrechterhalten wollen. Um das zu erreichen, m\u00fcssen die Unternehmen innovative Display-Technologien entwickeln, die eine noch nie dagewesene Display-Qualit\u00e4t bieten, die den Verbraucher sofort in ihren Bann zieht.<\/p>\n

Gebogene und gekr\u00fcmmte Displays werden der Anfang vieler Display-Technologien sein, die in naher Zukunft auf den Markt kommen werden, und es wird erwartet, dass faltbare Smartphones der n\u00e4chste Akt von Samsung sein werden. Samsungs Forschungs- und Entwicklungsabteilung testet schon seit einiger Zeit faltbare Display-Technologien.
