With rumours of an iPhone 6 announcement still fresh in the minds of the tech communities, there\u2019s further rumblings in the tech world. It\u2019s now expected that Samsung will launch the Galaxy Note 4 after announcing an event in Berlin, on September 3rd<\/sup>. This is event is coincidentally scheduled just two days before IFA<\/a>, one of Germany\u2019s oldest tech exhibitions; which typically hosts the launch events for the Galaxy Note line.<\/p>\n

While any details are pure speculation at this point; there are rumours which are sure to make Android fans happy, if true. According the latest news the Note is set to feature some truly eye popping features. Let\u2019s start with the hottest topic in the mobile world right now, screen size. The Note 4 plans are rumoured to include at least a 5.7 inch Super Amoled display which would theoretically have a resolution of 2560×1440 and sport a 515 ppi pixel density. This should beat out the iPhone 6\u2019s much hyped 5.5 inch screen. Further, a report from a prominent South Korean paper is reporting that Note 4 may possibly include two variants; one with a traditional flat screen and another with a curved screen.\u00a0\u00a0 Samsung has long been rumoured to be interested in curved screens which should make for some interesting design in the devices to come.<\/p>\n

The new device is said to be made of metal which addresses one of the biggest complaints about Samsung devices. That\u2019s not the only change to the hardware as it\u2019s said the Samsung may actually forgo the in house Exynos processors and partner with Qualcomm to include a Snapdragon processor, probably the 805. The Snapdragon 805 is a quadcore processor with 3 gb of RAM and of 4k capabilities. With that said, the smart money is on the Note housing a Samsung made, Exynos 6 octocore processor.<\/p>\n

In any case, details are still scarce, and we won\u2019t really know anything until September 3rd<\/sup>. But that doesn’t mean we can\u2019t get excited; and there\u2019s plenty to get excited about. Between the Note 4 and the iPhone 6, we\u2019re set to see another big leap forward in mobile computing.
