Auch die Menschen ziehen es zunehmend vor, digitale Inhalte zu lesen, anstatt gedruckte Materialien. Eine k\u00fcrzlich durchgef\u00fchrte Studie<\/a> Die Studie des Dartouth College hat gezeigt, dass diese Art des Lesens dazu gef\u00fchrt hat, dass sich unser Gehirn auf kleine Details konzentriert und nicht mehr auf den Sinn des Gelesenen. Multimedia-Ger\u00e4te haben die Arbeitsweise des menschlichen Gehirns ver\u00e4ndert und machen es uns schwerer, das Gelesene vollst\u00e4ndig zu erfassen. The study also established that those carrying out tasks with papers were overwhelmingly more capable of understanding the meaning of the content while those on the computers only managed to retain certain particular details. Those answering on paper choose \u2018getting organized\u2019 while those on the computer selected \u2018writing things down.\u2019<\/p>\n

Die Autoren der Studie vermuten, dass die M\u00f6glichkeit der Ablenkung durch Computer und Smartphones die Menschen dazu veranlasst hat, sich beim Lesen f\u00fcr die weniger geistig anspruchsvolle T\u00e4tigkeit des Erfassens konkreter Details zu entscheiden, selbst unter Testbedingungen, wenn diese Ablenkungen nicht vorhanden sind.
