Fixes on Disney Plus Not Working On Projector
Play it on a device first
- Connect your streaming device to your phone or laptop
- Open your Disney Plus app
- Play a content of your Display Plus
- Tap on the cast icon found on the top right corner
- On the options, choose the projector
If you have Disney Plus app installed on your projector
- Open the Disney Plus app
- Play the content you would want to watch on it
- Open the Disney plus app on the projector
- Click the same show on Continue Watching column

- Launch Disney Plus on web browser
- Go to the Disney Plus web app and log into your account
- Select the content that you wish to watch
- Tap on the cast icon

How to Stream Disney Plus via HDMI Connection
- Connect your device to your projector through the use of your HDMI cable
- Change your projector’s input to HDMI
- Open Disney Plus app on the device
- Play the show which you would want to watch
Download the Content for Offline Viewing
- Launch Disney Plus app
- Log into your account
- Select the search icon found at the bottom of the screen
- Search for the TV series of movie you would wish to download
- Tap download icon. This is the down point arrow icon
- Wait for the download to complete and you are good to go
To Stream Disney Plus Content
- Launch Disney Plus app
- Select the download icon found at the bottom of the screen
- Look for the content that you have downloaded
- Tap on it and it will begin streaming

Reboot the Projector

- Unplug the power cord
- Wait for 30 to 60 seconds

Update the Projector’s Software

- Plug your projector

Updating Projector’s Software via USB
- Go to the manufacturer’s website
- Download the latest software of your projector
- Save the software on your USB
- Connect to USB to the USB port of your projector
- Select USB
- Go to Settings
- Select Software Update
Update Disney Plus App’s Software
- Go to your device’s app store
- Select on the search icon
- Search Disney Plus
- Click Update
- Once the update is done, you are good to go. If there are no updates, this means that your app is up to date which means you would not need to skip this method.
Remove Cache Memory
On Your Disney Plus App
- Navigate to the settings of your device
- Select Apps
- Search for Disney plus
- Select Storage
- Select clear cache
On Your Projector
- Turn on your projector
- Go to settings
- Select Storage
- Select clear cache
Uninstall and reinstall the app
When you do this method, keep in mind that your custom data and download content would be deleted. It also deletes unnecessary data from past updates that are slowing down your app.
- Go to your device’s app store
- Search for Disney Plus
- Select uninstall
- Once it has been uninstalled, click install again

Use an HDCP Certified Cable
If your HDMI cable is not HDCP compliant, your Disney Plus content will not play as they are copyrighted. Hence, to protect them against piracy and illegal mass streaming, they have integrated HDCP into their program which means, you will have to use an HDMI cable which is HDCP compliant.
Connect the cable to an HDCP-supported port
Now that you have an HDCP compliant cable, you will have to ensure that your port is HDCP supported port. If not, your Disney Plus will not play.
