Download this OnePlus 3 order app for the launch

We’ve seen leaked photos and rumors of the OnePlus 3, but a recent invite-free announcement from the company (as well as the confirmation of the phone’s June 14th announcement) puts an end to speculations regarding those factors of the product launch. We know the OnePlus 3 is a metal smartphone (as can be seen by its passage through the TENAA, the Chinese FCC), and, together with the specs, there’s little room for speculation and rumor at this point. There is the matter of software, however, and we’ll have to wait until the big launch to find out just what OnePlus has done with its handset in terms of software.

Well, remember the Loop VR promotion OnePlus gave just a few days ago? It was for customers who wanted to order the OnePlus 3 by way of virtual reality, with OnePlus giving away free Loop VR headsets to those interested. Well, for those who either 1) took advantage of the promo and got their free headset or 2) those willing to pay for Loop VR and still want to purchase their smartphone in virtual reality, you’ll need to download an app to your current smartphone in order to take advantage of it. We show you the OnePlus 3 order app you’ll need to download in order to get set up for the main launch.

The app in question is called “OnePlus 3 Launch: The Loop,” and this app is obtainable from the Google Play Store. To get to the app, you need only click on the source link below to be on your way.

The OnePlus 3, the device in question, will feature a 5.5-inch, 1080p display, 4GB-6GB of LPDDR4 RAM (based on consumer choice), 64GB of storage (minimum), 5MP front camera, 12MP back camera, quad-core, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, and a 3,500mAh battery. The handset could be priced at around $500 or so when it’s announced, but you’ll have to stay tuned to find out more.
