5. GOCR

Take Note that though GOCR supports the usual image formats such as PNG and JPG, it does not work on Windows 10 running on PC.

It extracts text on image document and saves it to TXT format. Though GOCR comes with simple features, it does work well specially on extracting texts from simple images. It also only comes with limited feature, so, if your task is a bit complicated, GOCR is not for you.
