Consigue este casco de realidad virtual Samsung por $79.99

There are some virtual reality headsets out there, but none will run as effective as the Samsung VR headset that this deal is all about. In a current deal over at Daily Steals, the definitive Samsung VR headset, called the Gear VR, is available for $79.99. The headset normally runs at around $99.99, but you can now get one for $20 cheaper.

The Samsung VR headset (Gear VR) runs with Oculus’s platform software and will only work with a Samsung Galaxy smartphone (any of the 2015 models and the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge will do). For those who may not know, the Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 edge, Galaxy S6 edge Plus, and the Galaxy Note 5 will also work with the Samsung VR headset.

Oculus is responsible for its VR platform, and it is one of the best in the consumer market right now. Though a number of manufacturers are making the decision to sell to geeks and nerds like me who love VR, Samsung has decided to position the Samsung VR headset in the mass consumer market for those who may not love virtual reality yet but will grow to love it. Your Samsung Galaxy smartphone will snap into place, with the Samsung VR headset requiring you to connect your smartphone to it via the Galaxy smartphone’s USB port. Samsung is rumored to have a new USB Type-C charging VR headset in the works this fall with the arrival of the Galaxy Note 7, but the current Samsung VR headset will work with a micro-USB port that can be found on the company’s 2015 and 2016 smartphones up until now. The Galaxy S6 Active is incompatible with Samsung VR, as is the Galaxy S7 Active. Keep in mind that you can still get a free VR headset with the purchase of a current Galaxy smartphone. A new handheld controller could be on the way, just in time.

You can always wait until the new smartphone and VR headset arrives, but you may find you have more money now than you will later this year. Whenever the money’s right, go for it. We won’t hold it against you if you decide to get the VR headset and then pick up one of Samsung’s latest beauties.
