HTC 10 Camellia Red variante sólo para Japón, podría llegar a todo el mundo a finales de este año

The HTC 10 has been announced in black, white, and silver colors, but the newest high-end Android smartphone to arrive on the market is about to get an additional color – though it may be a national exclusive for one lucky country.

El color de este HTC 10 es Camellia Red, según el sitio Precio electrónico, and at the moment, it’s an exclusive for the country of Japan. Camellia Red is nothing more than a bright red HTC 10 variant which will certainly make itself known inside HTC’s smartphone lineup. After all, few smartphones on the market come in bright red outside of Motorola’s Droid Turbo 1 and 2 (or the Droid Maxx series, for example), which are all Motorola phones that have been marketed as Verizon exclusives. Outside of that, though, there’s the Asus ZenFone 2 that does come in a red variant, but few other smartphones do. You won’t find a red variant in the iPhone lineup, nor will you find a Red Galaxy S or Galaxy Note device. Apple has started to popularize Rose Gold, though Samsung has used Pink Gold for its Galaxy Note lineup a few years back.

Of course, this color gives Japanese consumers another color for the HTC 10 over which to drool, and it will certainly make others turn heads as they whip out their devices to use for both work and play. HTC could bring this device color worldwide, and it seems a smart strategy to do so. After all, this is the Taiwanese maker’s “comeback phone,” and, as with all comeback phones, the company can’t afford to sell anything less than its best. Red is certainly a bright color that stands out when you look at the black, white, and silver phones that seem to be popular these days. You can see the new red HTC 10 photos below.

What do you think? Would you be proud of your “red metal” HTC 10? Will you hold off from buying one until the Camellia Red HTC 10 makes its way to your market and country?
