El smartphone M1 Note de Meizu estará disponible internacionalmente en breve

Meizu, the Chinese smartphone maker is going to branch out its handset globally after gaining significant amounts of popularity in China.The tech firm had rolling out two handsets bearing the same model name (with different chipsets) so it is unclear which one will be landing on international market shelves. The company rolled out its M1 Note smartphone in order to challenge Xiaomi Redmi Note handset.

In January, Meizu had officially announced another M1 Note smartphone that possessed better hardware specifications compared to the company’s previous one. The first one possesses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 615 chipset which runs one quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU running at a frequency of 1.5 GHz while the other quad-core is running at just 1 GHz. With the revised edition, the Meizu M1 Note not only gets a chipset upgrade to MediaTek’s MT6752, but the octa-core package in the chip comprises up of eight Cortex-A53 cores that are running at 1.7 GHz, resulting in greater performance.

While there is a huge difference in performance when chipsets are swapped, the remainder of the specifications will remain the same. The M1 Note comes with a 5.5 inch screen size that renders the IGZO 1080p resolution. In addition, it also features 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB (or 32 GB, depending on which variant is purchased) of internal memory and an impressive 3,140 battery pack. One of the reasons why Meizu was held back from incorporating a microSD slot in its offering is because the smartphone only carries a price tag of $160 (due to additional charges, the device’s price may increase), so some trade-offs had to be made.

The phone will also be running Google’s KitKat 4.4.4 platform ‘out of the box’, along with a 13 MP and 5 MP rear and front shooter respectively.
