El OnePlus 3 metálico recibe la certificación, llegará en breve

The OnePlus 3 is no strange smartphone to those who’ve been keeping track of the smartphone’s whereabouts and imminent arrival. We don’t know when the Chinese manufacturer will announce it, but the specs we’ve seen aren’t really all that impressive; rather, they’re what we expect of a 2016 smartphone (except for the 1080p screen resolution, which should be a 1440p Quad HD display by now. The rumors tenía esto en su lugar before more recent spec leaks. Additionally, the washed-out display on the OP2 doesn’t bode well for the OnePlus 3.

Well, if the specs don’t get you drooling, how about a metal unibody? This is something OnePlus is hoping you’ll hang onto when the OnePlus 3. The device has now passed through the Chinese certification board (TENAA, short for the Chinese Certification board that’s akin to the US’s Federal Communications Commission, or FCC), meaning that it is now an official phone and not just a theoretical prototype that we’ve been mentioning. In other words, now that the OnePlus 3 exists, it won’t be long before we see it up close and personal.

As for the specs and features, we’ve been told that the OnePlus 3 will feature a 5.5-inch, Full HD display with a 1080p screen resolution, 4GB-6GB of RAM, 64GB of storage minimum, Qualcomm’s quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor (an industry standard), along with a 16MP back camera (we presume it’ll have a Sony sensor, as its predecessor did, though we don’t know exactly which one). The device will have NFC, something that the company should’ve placed in the prior device, junto con Android N preinstalado out of the box. As for the OnePlus UI, we’re looking at perhaps OxygenOS 3.1 (an update to the current OxygenOS 3.0). It seems as though OnePlus is already starting to update current devices to OxygenOS 3.1.

En cuanto al calendario, un representante del chat de OnePlus ha revelado la fecha de la presentación, June 14th, so we’re only about two weeks away now.
