Laptop Mag es una divisi\u00f3n de Tom's Guide, sin\u00f3nimo de an\u00e1lisis de hardware de calidad. Los dispositivos probados fueron el Galaxy S4 y 5 y el HTC One M7 y 8. Las cuatro operadoras eran, obviamente, Verizon, AT&amp;T, Sprint y T-Mobile.<\/p>\n<p>Los resultados fueron sorprendentes. Lo que los resultados mostraron fue que los dispositivos de T-Mobile fueron consistentemente los de mejor rendimiento con una puntuaci\u00f3n perfecta de 4 de 4. En el caso del Galaxy S5, el dispositivo de T-Mobile dur\u00f3 10 horas y 57 minutos. Esto es nada menos que 3 horas y 27 minutos m\u00e1s que el \u00faltimo lugar, Verizon. La duraci\u00f3n media de la bater\u00eda de T-Mobile fue de 8 horas y 11 minutos, mientras que Sprint qued\u00f3 en segundo lugar con 7 horas y 34 minutos. Es bien sabido que a veces hay peque\u00f1as diferencias entre las variantes, pero nada que sugiera una variaci\u00f3n tan grande en la duraci\u00f3n de la bater\u00eda. Otra explicaci\u00f3n l\u00f3gica tendr\u00eda que ver con el bloatware precargado en el dispositivo. Como sabemos, a algunas operadoras (Verizon, AT&amp;T) les gusta volverse locas con el bloatware precargado y no extra\u00edble, y esto bien podr\u00eda ser un factor contribuyente. Laptop Mag tambi\u00e9n ha planteado la posibilidad de que la red de T-Mobile simplemente consista en bandas de ondas de radio que son m\u00e1s eficientes en la transmisi\u00f3n de datos que las de sus competidores. Una explicaci\u00f3n a\u00fan m\u00e1s plausible es que el menor n\u00famero de clientes de T-Mobile hace que la red est\u00e9 menos saturada, lo que significa que las descargas son m\u00e1s r\u00e1pidas y los tiempos de conexi\u00f3n de los m\u00f3viles se reducen. Como sabemos, conectarse a Internet es una de las funciones que m\u00e1s bater\u00eda consumen de nuestros smartphones.<\/p>\n<p>La prueba se realiz\u00f3 con NFC, Bluetooth y Wi-Fi desactivados y las pantallas a un brillo est\u00e1ndar de 150 nits. Para poner a prueba los respectivos dispositivos se cre\u00f3 una aplicaci\u00f3n que navega a trav\u00e9s de 50 sitios web diferentes, haciendo una pausa en cada uno de ellos durante 1 minuto y repitiendo el proceso hasta que el dispositivo muere. La mejor duraci\u00f3n de la bater\u00eda se observ\u00f3 con el T-Mobile S5, que alcanz\u00f3 la impresionante cifra de 10 horas y 57 minutos. El tel\u00e9fono que se gana la poco halagadora etiqueta de peor rendimiento es el Verizon S4 que dur\u00f3 s\u00f3lo 4 horas y 1 minuto. Una hora menos que el siguiente con peor rendimiento (AT&amp;T) y 2 horas y 41 minutos menos que T-Mobile.<\/p>\n<p>Se trata de una prueba realmente reveladora y Laptop Mag se merece un gran reconocimiento por haber pensado de forma tan innovadora.
