How to Fix Windows 8/10 Update Error “80073712”

Windows 8 and Windows 10 users may come across update error “80073712” after they first install the operating system on their computer. 1. Point the mouse towards the upper right side of the screen to open the menu and left click on Settings. There you have to left click or tap on “Change PC Settings”.
2. Left click Update and recovery and on the next window, left click on “Recovery”.
3. Now you will see an option that says “Refresh your PC without affecting your files” and there you can click on Get Started. Next, you just need to follow the instructions that appear on the screen to perform a quick refresh of the system.
4. Once the refresh is completed, you can try to update again to see if you still come across the Update error.
