After official unveiling Galaxy S6 Active, the latest news revolves around the phablet sized version of Galaxy S6 Edge, which has been named Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, and will feature a screen size of 5.7 inches. Now, it appears that Galaxy S6 Edge Plus is going to be a carbon copy of its smaller screen sized brother of Galaxy S6 Edge. This is because according to the latest source, more information has been revealed that the upcoming smartphone is going to feature not one, but two curved-edge displays.

Initially, it was rumored that Galaxy S6 Edge Plus was going to receive a 5.5 inch screen size, but now, it has been confirmed that the screen size is going to be of the same size that Galaxy Note 3 and Note 4 possess. Similar to Galaxy S6 Active, it is expected that the large form factor of Galaxy S6 Edge Plus will allow the company to fit in a much larger battery as compared to the previous handsets, which is a welcome feature indeed.

Samsung might have made waves by incorporating a brand new design to its Galaxy S6 duo, but it has received negative criticism for not incorporating a microSD card slot and a small battery pack. With Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, Samsung intends on catering to the phablet market, as well as to those who require a smartphone that delivers both raw processing power and a whole lot of battery life.
