LG Nexus 2015 to be available at Google Store on September 29th

The LG Nexus 2015 has been leaked, as we’ve reported before, but a new source gives us an arrival date from which we can expect to get our hands on it.

The source says that on September 29th, the LG Nexus 2015 will be available at the new Google Store: “The anonymous source who passed two years ago, accurate information about the release date with the market with the Nexus 5, 2013 Package image ahead of worms is a saying that ‘2015 GTO LG Nexus 5 will be available through the Google Store September 29…” The same source says that the date of the Huawei Nexus release is unknown, perhaps hinting that the LG and Huawei Nexii may arrive at two different times.

The September 29 arrival date is odd, particularly because Google’s waited until October or November to announce its new Nexus device. September is rather early, and, considering Samsung’s decision to announce its new Galaxy Note 5 and S6 edge+ smartphones in August, it seems odd that Google would announce in the same month as Apple intends to roll out its iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. What this date shows us is that, if the September 29th date is true (and the same reliable source of the 2013 LG Nexus has leaked the LG Nexus 2015), then we can expect an upcoming announcement from Google within the next week or two. The date of the iPhone 6s announcement is September 9th, so it’s likely that Google will reveal the LG Nexus 2015 the following week (around mid-September).

Just as a refresher, you can expect the LG Nexus 2015 to boast a 5.2-inch, 2K display with a 2,560 x 1,440p screen resolution, a hexa-core, Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM, and a 13MP back camera. The same source says that the LG Nexus 2015 will come preloaded with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, which will bring app permissions that won’t require you approve of them all at once (but at different times when certain functions are needed) and will allow you to use apps without approving all permissions.
