Ramos Q7 is the largest Windows Phone ever made

When Nokia was still a part of the Lumia brand name, the company was rolling out ‘larger than life’ Windows Phones such as Lumia 1520 and Lumia 1320. Now that the company is no longer part of that brand name, an unknown Chinese firm has just announced the world’s largest Windows Phone, which carries a screen size of 7 inches. According to a source, Ramos is the name of the aforementioned company and its Q7 will be rendering the 720p display on its mammoth screen size.

Thanks to its large form factor, the company has incorporated a 4,000 mAh battery, though it has omitted details concerning whether the battery is a lithium polymer type or lithium ion. Regardless, since the device features a low ‘pixel per inch’ density, Ramos Q7 will be able to deliver more than 24 hours of battery life. As for the remainder of the hardware specifications, the 7 inch gargantuan is running Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 200 SoC, coupled with 1 GB of RAM, and 16 GB of on-board memory.

There is no word on whether the 7 inch device will provide support for an expandable storage slot or not. As for the camera sensors, a 5 MP/2 MP combination has been incorporated. Judging by the entry-level hardware specifications, Q7 will most likely be carrying a small price tag and will cater to the budget smartphone market.

As for when the device will be available, Ramos has currently not disinterred any details. It is possible that the smartphone will not be seen in any other region besides the Chinese market, since the popularity of the brand name is yet to proliferate and smartphone consumers are very skeptical in purchasing a device from a name that they have little to no information about. However, if the company is able to stamp a budget-friendly price tag on its Q7, then there is a small chance that the smartphone might appear in different markets.
