LG wants you to get hyped about the LG G5, but Verizon doesn’t want your hype to die down. The nation’s largest and most reliable carrier has now opened up its pre-order registration period for the LG G5. Those who order the device can expect it to ship no later than April 1st.

We’ve covered what you can expect out of the LG G5 (Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor, 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM, 16MP back camera (with a dual-camera setup on the back), 8MP front camera, 5.3-inch Quad HD display with 2,560 x 1,440p screen resolution, 2,800mAh battery, Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Android Pay, fingerprint scanner on the back, and a semi-modular design that lets you take out the battery and add modules (or attachments) to the device. LG spent more time at its G5 announcement at MWC 2016 detailing its modules (Bang & Olufsen Hi-Fi Plus, Cam Plus, 360 VR headset, 360 VR camera, etc.), with the company selling its modules ahead of everything else. LG calls these modules “friends,” and the company hopes you’ll find these friends to be worth your hard-earned cash.

Early reviews find the LG G5 to be refreshing, a great change for the Korean manufacturer, with the G5’s Always On Display sipping less battery life than Samsung’s own Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge. The LG G5 is also better in single-core performance than the Galaxy S7 edge and its non-edge sibling, though Samsung’s over 6,000 multi-score score in Geekbench 3 for the S7 and S7 edge crushes the LG G5 score terribly. As for battery life, the LG G5 has scored well in endurance time, with a total of 60 hours endurance (as reported by GSMArena), but this pales in comparison to the 98-hour endurance score posted by Samsung’s Galaxy S7 edge. Samsung’s Galaxy S7 edge also got nearly double the web browsing time of the LG G5 (the S7 edge got over 13 hours as opposed to the 7.5-hour web browsing endurance of the G5), and the Galaxy S7 received a near 9.5-hour web browsing time.

Verizon says you can expect to pay a total of $624 outright for the LG G5, or pay this amount over 24 months ($26 monthly).
