More and more companies are joining the Android One project that was started in September. A new company has teamed up with Google which goes by the name Symphony by launching their Roar A50 smartphone. Symphony is a company from Bangladesh which means that its going to cover the area in Bangladesh aside from India.<\/p>\n

There is nothing changed about the Symphony Roar A50 and is what you would expect from an Android One smartphone with a price tag of $110. The smartphone is equipped with a 4.5 inch display that supports a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels, MediaTek MT6582 SOC which is a quad core processor clocked at 1.3GHz, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of onboard storage with micro SD card expansion slot, 5MP camera on the back while a 2MP camera at the front and to power it all a 1780mAh battery. The smartphone will be running stock Google Android kitkat 4.4 out of the box and also supports 3G.<\/p>\n

As far as the Indian market is concerned which is where Google initially started their project, things aren\u2019t looking as good as Google hoped they would be and not a lot of people are interested in these smartphones. People who have bought an Android One smartphone is through the website which is the only place through which an Android One smartphone has been purchased.<\/p>\n

We don\u2019t know what Google have planned for the future but if the company is trying to promote their project by expanding its country list, well it looks like the company is confident and committed but the competition is tough out there and it would take some time before people get aware of Android One and what\u2019s it\u2019s really offering.<\/p>\n
