Apps can be fun, exciting, and useful, but what \nhappens when they start crashing on the Android platform? This can be a \ncommon issue, but knowing why apps crash and what you can do to fix them\n can help improve your user experience.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Infrequent Updates&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When Android updates its operating system, apps that have infrequent \nupdates may begin to crash or act irregularly. In most cases, the older \napp cannot function on the update\u2019s newer software and this causes the \ncrash. You can most likely run these apps on older operating systems, \nbut in some cases, the app requires an update before it can function \nproperly.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Not Enough Memory&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have multiple apps running on your Android phone, chances are \nyou experience frequent crashes because of limited memory. Poor or Limited Testing&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Android platform has given rise to dozens of different products \nthat run on its system: phones, tablets, lightweight laptops, and tablet\n computers, and gaming devices. With all these different devices, app \ndevelopers may not have the time or budget to thoroughly test their \napps, or they do not take other device operations into account. As a \nresult, the app starts to crash each time it is opened or acts \nerratically during use.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Operator Impatience&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Some apps require a longer startup time than others, and if they are \ninterfered with during this process, they may crash or freeze. For \nexample, double-tapping on an application icon that is trying to open \nmay cause it to operate unexpectedly or cause damage to your Android \ndevice. Apps that tend to use more data may open slower, so it is wise \nto practice patience and protect your phone\u2019s operating system.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. Poor Wi-Fi Signal&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are running your phone on Wi-Fi for any reason and begin to \nexperience app crashes, this may be because of a poor or inconsistent \nsignal. Some apps, like Facebook and Twitter, can be especially \nproblematic in this situation. If you are away from your home\u2019s Wi-Fi \nand cannot operate your larger apps, consider switching to data until \nyou are done using them.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some devices, such as tablets, can only run apps when a Wi-Fi signal \nis present. You may want to note which ones require data or a strong \nsignal to run properly.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6. A System Update Is Needed<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Apps sometimes crash when you try to operate them on an older system \nor fail to update your phone. These updates are usually necessary and \ncan improve communication between the app and the operating system.
