How to enable automatic downloads on iPhone and iPad

Are you one of those consumers who owns multiple devices? You may be someone who owns an iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, MacBook Pro/MacBook/MacBook Air or iMac, and even an Apple Watch or two. At that point, you have so many Apple devices that you simply don’t want the frustration and headache of remembering to download the same apps for all of these devices. You long for a way to have all your iDevices download the same app at the same time that you add it to one device. Well, you can learn how to enable automatic downloads on iPhone and iPad without much trouble.

Here are the steps to know how to enable automatic downloads on iPhone and iPad

• First, you’ll need to access your iDevice settings.
• Once inside, scroll down to “iTunes & App Store” on the left side. Select it, then look across to the section on the right. You should see a section beneath your password settings titled “Automatic Downloads.”
• The Automatic Downloads will mandate how to enable automatic downloads on iPhone and iPad. You can select your 1) Music, 2) Apps, 3) Books, and 4) Updates to download on all devices at once. So, for example, if you download iOS 9 or iOS 10 on your iPod Touch, for example, then you can be assured that iOS 10 will download on your iPad and iPhone at the same time as your iPod Touch. This is the case for not only apps but also books and music alongside of updates.

Once you learn how to enable automatic downloads on iPhone and iPad, you’ll never have to worry again about whether or not you remember downloading iOS 10 on your iPhone and iPad as you did on your iPod Touch. You’ll never have to worry about whether or not that favorite game app you downloaded yesterday is found on all your devices. Just make sure, however, that when you enable automatic download on iPhone and iPad, you’ve already set aside enough space for these downloads. The last thing you want to do is enable automatic downloads but lack the storage space for them.
