Motorola to unveil Moto 360 and Moto X+1 on September 4th

According to numerous resources, Motorola has sent out press invites for an event that is scheduled to take place on September 4, 2014. Samsung’s IFA event is already scheduled for September and the latest invites from Motorola adds more spice to things. This will be the biggest event for Motorola in its history in terms of what type of devices it will be launching at the event.

It is said that Motorola will finally launch the Moto 360 smartwatch which was announced in March. Even though almost 6 months have passed, and some might consider the launch of the smartwatch a bit late. But considering the importance of the event, Motorola did pick the right place and right time to launch its most innovative product.

Alongside the Moto 360, Motorola is also set to launch the Moto G2 and Moto X+1 smartphones. There is a possibility that Motorola will also announce a new Bluetooth accessory for its smartphones at the event. A lot of pictures were leaked online of the Moto 360 showing the premium quality metal body of the smartwatch. It is said that Moto 360 smartwatch might feature wireless charging too. But it doesn’t matter for now now; the event is just around the corner and the details will eventually come out.

Moto X+1 is also among the many devices that people are expecting to see at the event. Moto X+1 is considered to be the next flagship device from the company, considering its heavy specs that includes a quad core Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5GHz, 2GB RAM and an expected 5.1 inch 1080p screen. Moto X+1 is said to have a 12MP camera with a 2900 mAh battery. Finally, the Moto G2 will be a dual-SIM smartphone with a 5 inch display supporting 720p resolution, quadcore Snapdragon 400 processor with 1.2GHz clock, 1GB RAM and an 8MP camera. It’s still unknown whether Motorola will name it Moto G2 or Moto G+1.

Among the above three mentioned devices, majority of the community is looking forward to the launch of the Moto 360. As for the pictures, it looks like quite the interesting smartwatch.
