OnePlus 3 Gold color now on sale

The OnePlus 3 would’ve looked fabulous in bright red, but the company decided that it wouldn’t craft one. Though the bright red OnePlus 3 will never make it to market, the OnePlus 3 Gold color option is now available, as the company promised. We noted a few days ago that it would arrive quickly, and it has done just that.

The OnePlus 3 Gold color option gives you two color choices, one more than the Graphite color the company offered at launch. You won’t find any other colors except these, but some customers find silver and gold metal as the ideal designs for a great smartphone. Few other colors matter to most individuals: most want a silver aluminum metal model because they crave what they perceive as premium build quality. Others, me included, love gold smartphones — okay, the Gold LG G5 made me regret that; I went for the Titanium Gray model instead. Otherwise, I do love gold smartphones and have great respect for the OnePlus 3 Gold color option.

As is the case with all OnePlus 3 models, the OnePlus 3 Gold phone has gotten good press as to its performance. OnePlus had to bring a RAM update after saying that the RAM management issues were necessary for its latest flagship, but the update has fixed the RAM management issue and given the OnePlus 3 better performance than even Samsung’s latest flagships, the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge. Now, of course, we know that the OnePlus 3 Gold color option, faster speed than the S7 and S7 edge, as well as the cheaper price tag ($400 versus the $700-$800 price tags of the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge) aren’t enough to sway voters. The Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge also have stellar camera performance, gorgeous AMOLED displays that don’t look like 2010 panels on a budget, and run their own feature-rich TouchWiz UI that OnePlus can’t match (despite having some customizations of its own the company UI). We’re not sure if the update fixed the AMOLED panel color reproduction issues, though there seems to be some improvement from before and after photos that I’ve seen.

The OnePlus 3 Gold color option is now available from the OnePlus website for the same price as the Graphite color model ($400). Head on over to the source link below and grab your Gold color option before they get gone.
