Qualcomm’s MDP smartphone
Ever wanted to get the latest specs on a smartphone even before all the smartphone manufacturers could well Qualcomm has made it possible. The company has launched a new Mobile Development Platform Smartphone that will be available for both developers and general users. The smartphone packs all the latest specs that even the market has yet to see but comes with a price tag of $800.
The smartphone is equipped with a 6.17 inch display that supports a resolution of 1600 x 2560which can also register up to 10 fingers on its multi touch display. Aside from that the Qualcomm smartphone also comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor which is a 64 bit octa core processor and 4GB of DDR4 RAM.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 consists of 4 core among which 4 cores are of Cortex A57 while the other4 cores are of Cortex A53 which are said to be around 50% faster than the current 32bit Cortex A15 cores used on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 805. The processor is also coupled with Andreno 430 GPU which is said to be 30% faster than the Andreno 420 GPU while the processing cores are built on a 20nm process, which would result in power efficiency.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 can support a camera up to 55MP but this phones comes with a 13MP OIS camera on the back while a 4MP camera at the front. Aside from all the high end specs the smartphone is also equipped with a lot of sensors including 3-axis accelerometer and 3-axis gyroscope, a 3-axis magnetometer, an ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, pressure sensor, temperature and humidity sensor, UV sensor, and a Mobeam sensor.
