How to remove the “Sent from my iPhone” message
Thanks to your iPhone, you can easily send urgent email when you are on the go. It is a convenient tool for work and to catch up with important events in your daily life. When you send an email, the “Sent from my iPhone” signature appears at the end of the message. This is Apple’s default signature and while some people don’t have any issues with it, others find it slightly annoying. The good news is that if you want to get rid of the “Sent from my iPhone” message, or change it for something else, you can do it. With only a few steps, you can easily delete this default email signature or customize it. Here is what you need to do in order to remove or edit the “Sent from my iPhone” message.
- Open Settings on your device
- Scroll down and select Mail, Contacts and Calendars
- Scroll down until you see “Signature” and select it
- Now you will see a window and there you can change or remove the signature completely. You can enter the text that you want to use instead of the default “Sent from my iPhone”, or simply delete it, if you don’t want to have any signature.
As you can see, the process is very simple and within a few minutes, you can get your own email signature or delete the default one provided by Apple. Editing the signature will allow you to add a personalized touch to your emails, or if preferred, you can have no signature at all.
