Galaxy S6 Active Marshmallow güncellemesi yayınlandı

The Galaxy S6 was the first series in Samsung’s “Galaxy” to have a reimagined, redesigned, and redefined build quality that made even the most ardent of critics take notice, but the series is now a year old, and, as usual, goes the way of all veteran smartphones after a while. Still, consumers who’ve invested in the first smartphone to break the “plastic” mold have been looking forward to upgrading their smartphones.
Even with the Galaxy S7 Active in its collection, one of America’s wireless carrier giant has not yet forgotten about these customers, and Samsung hasn’t either — which is the reason behind why AT&T is now rolling out the Galaxy S6 Active Marshmallow update.
We could go through the changes to Marshmallow that users will experience, but the common changes of Google and Samsung are pretty common knowledge. Google brings the features of Marshmallow that give users more control over their app permissions, lets them tap to search anything on the Google search engine and more, alongside of better battery performance when your device is idle (Doze Mode). At the same time, the Korean giant has also brought along its own changes, such as the more “squircular” icons than before, alongside of the new user interface with Marshmallow that has proven to be a bit of a nice change from the blues and greens of the old TouchWiz look.
The Galaxy S6 Active Marshmallow update was released on July 5th, coming in at a hefty 1441MB (1.441GB), brings the S6 Active to build number G890AUCU3C PE4, and inaugurates not only Android 6.0 but also WiFi calling and texting from AT&T for S6 Active customers for the handset.
If you’ve been waiting for your chance to dive into Google’s current sweet treat (despite Android Nougat’s imminent arrival on the market), then head over to your software update settings and “hit that button.” Then, come back here and let us know that you did and what changes to Android come in 6.0 that you’re excited about.
