If you are unable to find the App Store icon on your device don’t worry, there is a way to get it back. Many users worry that they may have deleted the icon accidentally and that it won’t be possible to retrieve it, but here we will tell you how.
Let’s start by saying that it is not possible to delete the App Store. It was probably moved to another screen or you may find it in a different folder. It is also possible that it was disabled. Here is what you can do to get it back.
- Go to Settings, then to General
- Select Restrictions and then Installing apps
- Turn the App Store “on”. The App store icon should appear again in Home screen layout.
If you are still unable to get the App Store icon back, you should be able to find it in a different Home screen layout. Flip the screen to check the icon. You can also try to reset Home screen via Settings, then General, followed by Reset and Reset Home Screen Layout. The icon should be restored to its original place. Keep in mind that if your iPhone or iPad has been jailbroken and you deleted the App Store icon, you will need to reverse that jailbreak process in order to retrieve the App Store.
