If you\u2019ve been in Android any time at all, you\u2019ll know the importance of the app drawer: it allows you to have the apps on your main desktop that you want to use, while allowing you to \u201chide\u201d the others away in the app drawer. You can always visit them when you want, but they don\u2019t get the pleasure of cluttering your main screen(s). Well, LG removed the app drawer in the LG G5, making us wonder if Google intends to get rid of the app drawer in Android 7.0 N as a way to win over more iPhone users.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s more than okay if you\u2019re not too happy with this decision by LG. We aren\u2019t, either, though we think LG has done this to make the setup a bit easier for some former iPhone users who may be transitioning over from iOS to Android. And yet, for what seems like an impossible situation, there is some glimmer of hope: You can get the app drawer back on the LG G5, if you perform the following steps:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cihaz\u0131n\u0131zda a\u015fa\u011f\u0131daki web sitesine gidin: www.apkmirror.com\/apk\/lgelectronics\/homeux-4-0\/homeux-4-0-4-80-4-release\/homeux-4-0-4-80-4-android-apk-download\/<\/li>\n<li>You should see the words \u201cHome(UX 4.0) 4.80.4 at the top of the page. Scroll down beneath the \u201cFollow Home (UX 4.0) App Updates)\u201d and \u201cFollow LGElectronics Updates\u201d and you should see the word \u201cDownload\u201d in a green box. Go ahead and tap the box to download the new Home 4.0.<\/li>\n<li>Once the download is complete, you should see a \u201cComplete Action Using\u201d menu pop up. \u201cHome\u201d refers to the current LG UX 5.0, \u201cEasyHome\u201d refers to the other mode that brings back an app drawer (but is too unattractive). The \u201cHome(UX 4.0)\u201d refers to the old setup, prior to the new 5.0. Go ahead and select that. You can always change this by going to Settings>Application manager>Reset default apps.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>That\u2019s it! You can now enjoy the old LG UX 4.0 with the app drawer on the G5, the one you cherished before LG eliminated it.<\/p>\n<p>Have you decided to revert back to the LG UX 4.0 version in the LG G5 instead of sticking with the UX version 5.0 that is pre-installed on the LG G5 out of the box?
