How to copy text from Facebook app on your Android device

If you have an Android device and you are an avid Facebook user, you may know by now that Facebook doesn’t let you copy text from its app on your Android smartphone or tablet. Generally, Android users can copy any text and all they have to do is to hold the text for a while and use a copy option. However, the Facebook app doesn’t have the feature enabled. If you need to share or save a text, don’t worry there is a way to do it.

This will be helpful in cases when there is a post that you would like to copy from the Facebook app because you want to share it on WhatsApp, or just because you want to keep it. Not being able to copy the text directly from the Facebook app can be annoying and typing it manually all over again could be a hassle and you probably want to avoid it. How to copy text from Facebook App on your Android device

Method 1 – Use your Mobile Browser

This is the easiest solution to copy text from Facebook on your Android device. You just need to use your mobile browser.

The first step is to open your mobile browser, then log into Facebook. This will enable you to copy any text from Facebook. This is a solution that doesn’t only work on Android devices, but it will also allow you to copy text from the Facebook app when you are using a Windows Phone or an iPhone.

Method 2 – Use the Facebook Messenger App

For this option, you need to get the Facebook Messenger App to be able to copy and paste text from the Facebook app.

  1. To get started, you need to open the Facebook app on your Android device. Thsn you have to select the post that you want to copy.
  2. Tap the Share button and then click on Share once again
  3. Select the “Copy Link to Post” option
  4. Then, open your Facebook Messenger app and start a new chat
  5. Make sure that you paste the link you previously copied
  6. Open the link in the Messenger App, copy the text you want to use to confirm that it works

Method 3 – Install an App

The last option that you can try is to install an app that allows you to copy-paste text from Facebook App in Android. Since copy-paste is one of the most common tasks, you are set to find apps that let you do this without issues.
