• Connect printer to WiFi router’s LAN port through ethernet cable
• Turn the printer on
• Wait for your printer to initialize
• On your laptop, install the driver software of printer
• Driver will then recognize the printer
• Complete the setup
• Test print

If your printer is not recognized by your laptop, you could set up your printer manually by adding a printer option through IP address.

• Go to settings
• Find network status

• Check the box beside share this printer
• Click apply
• Click ok
• On another laptop or PC, add shared printer through the add printer settings
• On the printer dialog, select a shared printer by name
• Look for the shared printer
• Click on the shared printer name
• Double click to install the printer
• Ensure that on the antivirus or firewall settings, shared printer is enabled

Print Server Supported Routers and Print Servers

• Turn your printer on
• Connect your printer with USB cable to router’s USB port
• On the print server tab, you will find the detected connected printer. This is if your router supports your printer driver
• Provide the name to your printer
• Address will be generated
• Select printer to configure the printer

Keep in mind that if your router does not support your print server, you could purchase print server or print server based routers.

• Choose the printer that you are using
• Leave the setting on Discoverable on Local subnet

• Look for your local printer name
• Open the document on mobile, select the printer name with the papercut logo
