iPhone 7 Klon unboxing zeigt Designänderungen

The rumors about the iPhone 7 continue to pile up, though pictures of the upcoming iDevice have surfaced. We’ve already seen an iPhone 7 dummy, but a new iPhone 7 clone unboxing shows more authentic design changes that we can expect in the new model that debuts in September.

The video, created by Jonathan Morrison, shows an iPhone 7 clone and gives us a further examination of the details. First, there is a larger camera slot on the back of the device than in generations past, lending credence to the optical image stabilization rumor we’ve talked about. Since this is the regular iPhone 7, then it appears as though the entry-level device will get OIS for less shaky photos and videos than before. In line with the previous iPhone 7 dummy we’ve seen, there are no antenna lines on the back of this model — a nice design change from the iPhone 6s.

The iPhone 7 clone also shows the absence of the 3.5mm headphone jack, with an additional bottom audio speaker in its place. This was an early rumor, though little had been said about the second audio speaker since. A look at a video on the iPhone 7 confirmed as much, and this seems to confirm what has been said earlier. As for the lightning headphones, Apple is at work on wireless headphones for the upcoming device, and, as the earlier rumor said they would be Lightning-based, indeed they are.

Those are the extent of the changes, so it appears as though the majority of rumors about the device (some flip-flopping ones notwithstanding) are true and will come to light. The iPhone 7 release date is pegged for Friday, September 16th, with pre-orders rumored for September 9th. We’ll be back to report on iPhone 7 pre-orders, though.

For now, what do you think? Surprised? Disappointed? Don’t like the loss of the 3.5mm headphone jack?
