Vivo plans to launch worlds thinnest smartphone Viva X5 Max on December 10

Tomorrow on 10th of December, a Chinese manufacturer will launch their Vivo X5 Max smartphone which is going to be the thinnest smartphone in the world at 4.75mm thick while the current record of the slimmest smartphone is held by Oppo with their R5 smartphone.

Thinness is not the only thing that the smartphone offers as it’s also equipped with a 5.5 inch display that supports a resolution of 1920 x 1080, MediaTek octa core SOC clocked at 1.7GHz, 2GB of RAM and a 13MP camera. Vivo X5 Max is not the only smartphone that the company would be offering as it is also said that Vivo is working on a mini version of the Vivo X5 Max known as Vivo X5F.

The smartphone is said to be equipped with a 5 inch display, the same Mediatek octa core SOC which will be clocked lover at 1.5GHz but is said to be around 1.55mm thicker than the Vivo X5 Max. The reason why the smartphone had to be thicker is the size which is shrunken down, though the Vivo X5 Max is thinner but there is more space to fit hardware into it because of its wideness and tallness but same can’t be said about the mini version.

Even though the smartphone is said to be 1.55mm thicker but even at that thickness the smartphone is pretty thin than most of the smartphones out there. Vivo also has plans to launch their Vivo X5 Max smartphone in India as the company said that “Block your date countdown begins. As Vivo Mobile, with its slimmest phone in the world is about to enter your life Embrace Hi-Fi & Smart. All you’ve ever dreamed of is now just a touchscreen away! X5 Max enters India, join us for the extravagant launch”

Would you go for the bigger version or the smaller version?
