Google lanza el HTC Nexus 9

Google Nexus 9 was launched alongside with Google Nexus 6 which would also be the first tablet to run Android Lollipop 5.0 on it. Nexus 9 is available in two colors including black, white and sand brown colors with the tablet being available to the markets starting 3rd of November with a starting price of $399.

The leaked specs on the Nexus 8 tablet were true as HTC is the manufacturer behind the tablet which comes with brushed metal sides. The tablet is equipped with an 8.9 inch display that supports a resolution of 2048 x 1536 with a pixel density of 281 ppi. Under the hood the tablet is equipped with a dual core Nvidia TegraK1 processor clocked at 2.3GHz which is 64-bit ready coupled with kepler GPU, 2GB of RAM, 16 or 32GB of onboard storage, 8MP camera on the back while a 1.6MP camera at the front and to power it all a 67000mAh battery.

The screen of the Nexus 9 supports an aspect ratio of 4:3 which also comes with 2 stereo front facing speakers with HTC’s signature BoomSound technology as well as double tap to wake up screen function. The tablet also comes with an attachable keyboard which would be sold separately but makes the tablet turn into a laptop. According to Google the new attachable keyboard with the Nexus 9 will make it easier for users to “get stuff done”.

Other than the beefy specs Nexus 9 will also be running the latest version of Android OS known as Android Lollipop 5.0 which should have no problems running smoothly on the Nvidia TegraK1 process with that resolution. The tablet looks stylish yet simple and if you think about it, it looks like an enlarged version of Nexus 5.

What do you think about the new Nexus tablet from Google is it worth your time and money?
