HTC Hima M9 aparece en el benchmark AnTuTu
Looks like HTC might not be planning to upgrade the resolution on their upcoming HTC M9 smartphone. According to AnTuTu, which is a benchmarking website, HTC Hima is going to be equipped with a 5 inch display but the resolution on the smartphone is going to stay the same which is 1920 x 1080 rather than increasing it to 1440 x 2560, that we have been hearing about in the rumors.
The resolution is the only thing that might stay the same as according to AnTuTu HTC Hima M9 will be powered by the much heard Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SOC which is an octa core processor and will be coupled with Andreno 430 GPU. AnTuTu also pointed out that the smartphone will be equipped with a 13MP camera at the front while a 20.7MP camera on the back and 3GB of RAM.
We don’t know what HTC is thinking, if the company have plans to use the same resolution found on the HTC M8. It would be a big gamble for the company as people out there are expecting an HTC smartphone with a QHD resolution and if HTC was not able to provide that, same might happen to HTC what happened to Samsung with their Galaxy S5.
Plus there is no point in using a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SOC if the resolution is not going to be higher than 1920 x 1080, or maybe it’s just a prototype version of HTC M9 that got tested on AnTuTu. Some rendered images of HTC M9 were also leaked on the internet today, letting us to think that HTC might after all launch their next gen smartphone on CES.
What do you think about all this, would you lose interest if HTC decided to go with the same resolution?
