El lanzamiento del iPhone 6 se retrasará en China hasta 2015
The new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus that racked up a record 4 million pre-orders in first 24 hours might not be coming to China this year. China Mobile, the country’s biggest carrier with over 800 million customers also has no idea when it will start taking orders for the newly launched iPhone 6.
Según un report, the delay is caused due to a disagreement between Apple and China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Every company who wants to legally sell its device in China has to go through a unique process of approval from the Ministry and it looks like both parties failed to reach an agreement over the iPhone 6 launch in China. Without the approval, there is no legal way for Apple to sell new iPhone 6 in China.
Apple recently agreed on terms with China Mobile over iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C that boosted both the sales of Apple iPhone and stock prices of the company. But the latest news is like a surprise as to what is wrong this time that iPhone 6 launch is facing such a lengthy delay. This could really hurt the sales figure which is expected by the end of Q4, 2014.
Apple iPhone 6 pre-orders started on 12th September in the main countries including the US and UK and pre-orders in more countries are due to be started from 26th September. It looks like people in China will have to wait until 2015 to get their hands on the latest iPhone 6. Matters like these do take considerable amount of time but it is expected that Apple would come up with something that would suit both parties and will foresee the launch of iPhone 6 this year.
