LG G Flex 2 to launch at CES in January 2015
Looks like LG might be prepping up to come up with a new smartphone which would be the successor the current LG G Flex. This news first came back in May 2014 but now it is said that LG is going to launch it next year.
A source told Android Authority that LG is going to launch LG G Flex 2 next year in the month of January at CES 2015. The smartphone is said to have the same curved display just like its predecessor did but with an improved resolution. LG G Flex has a large display but only supports a resolution of 720 x 1280 while the LG G Flex 2 is said to be equipped with a smaller display but a higher resolution probably a FHD resolution.
LG G Flex 2 will alsohave the self-healing coating on its back but we can’t be sure if the new smartphone from LG would be running the latest version of Android 5.0 out of the box, but one thing is for sure that LG will update it later on. It is also said that LG is working on a design that is more radical than last year’s model and is also said to be more bendable than the LG G Flex. This news however we are not sure about as coming up with a smartphone that is fully bendable might be far ahead, but we don’t know maybe LG would surprise us this time as well as they did last year with their LG G Flex.
Not a lot of people were into the curved LG G Flex, but it was an experiment from LG that didn’t turn out well. We don’t know why LG will go ahead and come up with an updated version of the same smartphone.
