Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus goes online on Samsung Netherland website
A few months ago we saw a new variant of Samsung’s flagship smartphone Galaxy S5 known as Galaxy S5 4G+ that was set to launch in Singapore. The smartphone was similar to the original Galaxy S5 with the addition of a faster CPU being upgraded from Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 to Qualcomm Snapdragon 805. What that did is that it not only increased the processing power of the Galaxy S5 4G+ but also allowed the Galaxy S5 4G+ to attain higher LTE speeds.
Looks like Samsung has now plans to launch its Galaxy S5 4G+ variant in other countries as well by the name Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus which has been spotted on the Netherland website of Samsung. We thought at first the name Galaxy S5 Plus indicates a smartphone with higher specs but that is not the case with Galaxy S5 Plus as the smartphone comes with all the same specs found on the Galaxy S5 but with an updated processor the Qualcomm Snapdragon 805, whether as the Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A a Korean variant of Galaxy S5 not only came with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor but also a 2k display.
Galaxy S5 Plus might be an upgrade for those users who still haven’t upgraded to Galaxy S5 while for those who are still using the Galaxy S5 can stick with their smartphone as there won’t be any noticeable performance different between the Galaxy S5 and the Galaxy S5 Plus.
If Samsung follows its usual update cycle then we should see the next flagship smartphone from Samsung in the month of February next year and if that happened then do you think it’s a good idea for Samsung to launch an upgraded variant of their Galaxy S5 smartphone just months before the upcoming Galaxy S6?
